Steve the Bartender & Elevated Craft

The Scorpion

The Scorpion cocktail dates back to the 1930s when an unidentified bartender created it in Honolulu at a bar called The Hut. Trader Vic modified the recipe in the 1940s, making it a large-format drink and adding it to his menu as the Scorpion Bowl. He published several recipes, so you may find versions with brandy, cognac, or gin.

Steve, one of our favorite bartenders, published his own cocktail book! The book contains delicious and easy-to-make cocktails, perfect for any occasion. Whether a beginner or a seasoned pro, you'll find something to love in this book. So what are you waiting for? Order your copy here!

Steve Reviews The Hybrid Cocktail Shaker

Published August 14th 2021

If you have a friend that's getting into cocktails and that loves their cocktails, this would make an absolutely great gift if you're making cocktails at home for you and a friend; this would work well. If you do pre-batch cocktails and it's going to keep the drink cold when you go for a picnic, that's going to be perfect... Steve Roennfeldt, Steve the Bartender
