The Royal Coconut Coast

For this week's Friday Buzz, we are featuring The Royal Coconut Coast, a Jamie Behmer original that was created with Kauai's East Side as its muse. This part of the island is known as The Royal Coconut Coast. It has special historical and cultural value since it was originally reserved for Hawaiian royalty. Try to imagine the tropical hibiscus tea and coconut-y goodness that awaits you when you reach the shore of the Royal Coast.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. White Rum or Lightly Aged Rum
  • 1 oz. Lime juice
  • 1 oz. Toasted Coconut Syrup (Liber & Co.)
  • 2 oz. Hibiscus Tea
  • 2 Dashes Toasted Coconut Bitters (Remedy Cocktail Co.)
  • Edible Hibiscus Flower
  • Dehydrated orange wheel

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients in the Elevated Craft Shaker.
  2. Add ice, shake to chill and dilute.
  3. Strain into your Hybrid Cocktail Glass with a large ice cube.
  4. Garnish.
