The Cable Car is a simple variation on a classic Sidecar. Spiced rum is used in place of cognac and the drink is finished with a cinnamon sugar rim for some warming spice.
Created by bartending icon Tony Abou-Ganim as an homage to San Francisco's vintage transportation that passes by the Starlight Room which he co-founded.

1 ½ oz. Spiced rum
¾ oz. Orange curacao
1 oz. Lemon juice
½ oz. Simple syrup
Cinnamon sugar rim
Rim a stemmed cocktail glass with cinnamon sugar.
In your Hybrid Cocktail Shaker, combine all ingredients.
Add ice and shake for 10-12 seconds.
Double strain into the prepared glass.
