The Mint Julep may be steeped in centuries of tradition, but there's always room for a little reinvention. Enter the Pineapple Mint Julep—a vibrant, refreshing spin on the Southern classic that trades some of the Derby’s formality for island-inspired ease.
By blending juicy pineapple puree with fragrant mint, smooth bourbon, and a splash of simple syrup, this cocktail strikes the perfect balance between sweetness and spirit. It's light, invigorating, and just the thing for unwinding on a warm afternoon.
Crushed ice is a must, creating the frosty, slow-sipping experience that makes juleps so iconic. On a day like National Mint Julep Day, it’s the little details—like that icy finish and the sparkle of fresh mint—that turn a simple drink into a standout moment.
