Part-Time Lover

Don’t let the name fool you—this cocktail is here for a good time and a long time. Created by Jon Weimorts at Idle Hour in Los Angeles, the Part-Time Lover is a flirty little number that mixes the bold charm of blanco tequila with the bittersweet allure of Aperol, then softens the mood with elderflower liqueur and a citrusy kiss of lemon. It’s got just the right balance of sass and sophistication to keep things interesting.

Crafted with year-round appeal in mind, the Part-Time Lover is the kind of drink that plays well with others—effortless to shake up and endlessly crushable. No matter the mood—chill night in or low-key soirée—this cocktail shows up looking good and tasting even better. Don’t be surprised if it becomes your go-to. After all, some flings are worth catching feelings for.
