Lumiere

Developed in Brooklyn, New York at the Nitehawk Cinema by Director of Beverages, Jen Marshall, The Lumiere was inspired by the Oscar-nominated film, Hugo. Though the film didn’t win that year’s Best Picture Award, it did win several awards including Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, and Best Visual Effects.

Hugo is the story of a young boy who discovers a broken mechanical man and his journey to discover who made him. The film also follows the life Georges Méliès, a real-life famous early French filmmaker, who used an early motion picture camera invented by brothers Auguste & Louis Lumière.

The fresh lime balances the sweetness of the St. Germain while the Green Chartreuse helps give the drink its light green color that looks luminescent like the drinks namesake.
