Sarah Morrissey's Egg Nog

Punchdrink.com hosted a nog-off in which Sarah's egg nog recipe was a top contender! It was deemed the most 'cocktail like' of all the recipes due to the technique in how it was made and the way it was served - shaken, poured over ice and garnished with a mint sprig.


The addition of Mr Black cold brew coffee liqueur and vanilla liqueur caffeinated and sweetened the nog whilst cinnamon syrup added a touch of spice.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Brandy
  • ½ oz. Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur
  • ½ oz. Vanilla liqueur
  • ½ oz. Cinnamon syrup
  • 1 oz. Heavy cream
  • 1 Egg
  • Mint sprig (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients into your Hybrid Cocktail Shaker.
  2. Shake with ice for 12-15 seconds.
  3. Strain over ice into your Hybrid Cocktail Glass.
  4. Garnish with a mint sprig.
