Today's cocktail (a boozy milkshake, actually) is a twist on the Brandy Alexander – a decadent dessert drink made with a handful of simple ingredients. While it typically calls for heavy cream, we were inspired to sub in ice cream (it's summer for one more week, after all). So if you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth and serve up a cold treat, give this one a go.
Start with a common brand of Brandy (no need to splurge here, E&J will be A-OK) and a Crème de Cacao Liqueur. White or dark will both be tasty, but significantly alter the color of your drink depending on which one you choose. Incorporate your choice of milk and favorite vanilla ice cream, then blend until smooth and creamy. Finish with a generous swirl of whipped cream, classic rainbow sprinkles and additional toppings of your choice.
Sit back, sip, and wait for your milkshake to bring all the boys (or girls) to the yard. Sorry, we had to.
