Ingredients:
1 ½ oz. Reposado tequila
1 oz. Espresso, chilled
¾ oz. Coffee Liqueur (Original specs call for Mr. Black)
½ oz. Liber & Co.’s Sugarcane Kola Syrup (Original specs call for Coca-Cola Reduction, recipe below)
The original cocktail was created by Charity Johnston, Beverage Director at Toca Madera, West Hollywood, CA who says,
“I wanted to make an Espresso Martini-style cocktail but I always like to make something a little different. I wanted this cocktail to taste as if you’d just had a cold brew coffee from your favorite shop and opted for the Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur. It really is like drinking cold brew, and I love that it’s caffeinated.”
1 ½ oz. Reposado Tequila, preferably Tromba Reposado
1 oz. Espresso, chilled
¾ oz. Coffee liqueur, preferably Mr. Black
½ oz. Coca-Cola reduction (recipe below)
