Chai Tea Fizz

We love a gin fizz, and today's recipe – elevated with Spiced Chai Syrup – is no exception.


Start with your preferred gin and build your cocktail with freshly squeezed lemon juice and egg white. If you can get your hands on a bottle of Shaker & Spoon's Spiced Chai Syrup, we recommend giving it a shake. Otherwise you can make your own delicious homemade Chai syrup by steeping one Chai black tea bag in warm simple syrup (1:1 sugar and water) for an hour.


This drink is light with botanical complexity from the gin and a hint of sweetness and spice from the tea. It's perfect for brunch on a crisp fall day or cocktail hour in a cozy chair at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Gin
  • 1 oz. Shaker & Spoon Spiced Chai Syrup
  • ¾ oz. Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz. Egg White
  • Chilled Club Soda, to top
  • Lemon (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients except club soda to your Hybrid Cocktail Shaker.
  2. Dry shake (without ice) for 15-20 seconds.
  3. Add ice to the shaker (preferably one large cube) and shake again for another 15 seconds.
  4. Strain into a Hybrid Cocktail Glass, top with soda and garnish with lemon.
