Gunshop Fizz

This cocktail was created in 2009 by Kirk Estopinal and Maks Pazuniak. It’s was made as a tribute to the creator of Peychaud’s bitters, pharmacist Antione Amédée Peychaud.

He had a pharmacy in the French Quarter of New Orleans in the late 1890’s. Now, it’s an antique gun shop, hence the name.

The bitters are the main spirit in this. Don’t squirm when you hear the word “bitters” it’s actually super good. I like cocktails that use bitters as the main component in a cocktail. Like the Angostura Colada or Trinidad Sour. This is fresh, slightly bitter, fruity and delicious. - Steve Cervantes
