This was the signature cocktail from Lost Lake, a beloved tropical bar in Chicago that unfortunately had to shut its doors for good in early 2022. During its existence, the bar made it on a few top-50/100 bars in the world lists.
The Lost Lake is a riff on a Jungle Bird that was created in the 70's at the Aviary Bar of the Kulala Lumpur Hilton.

2 oz. Plantation Xaymaca Rum
¾ oz. Lime Juice
¾ oz. Passion Fruit Syrup
½ oz. Pineapple Juice
¼ oz. Maraschino Liqueur
¼ oz. Campari
Combine all ingredients into your Hybrid Cocktail Shaker with ice and shake.
Pour into your Hybrid Cocktail Glass and top with more ice.
Garnish tropically! (Steve used a pineapple slice, orange twist, pineapple frond and orchid)
