Aquavit has a strong botanical character - not unlike gin. This Summer Moon cocktail was devised to pair with a soft caraway-forward aquavit, which works wonderfully alongside floral liqueurs.
1 ½ oz. Aquavit
¼ oz elderflower liqueur
¼ oz creme de violette
¾ oz lemon juice
¼ oz. Classic Gum Syrup
Lemon wheel (for garnish)
Add all ingredients to your Hybrid Cocktail Shaker.
Add ice and shake hard for 20 seconds.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with a lemon wheel.
