My mother loved a cocktail with orange juice. The Fuzzy Navel and Screwdriver were her popular orders, but her favorite was The Madras. A combination of cranberry juice, orange juice, vodka, and a lime wedge shaken and served in an ice-filled cocktail glass with a lime wedge. She loved them and served them by the pitcher during summer cocktail parties at our house. I loved watching her make cocktails. I'm not a vodka fan or a cranberry juice fan, so I vamped the recipe a bit to fit my tastes while staying in the same vein as her favorite cocktail. I think she would have liked this...I miss her.
