In honor of National Vodka Day, we are serving up a unique vodka tiki (yes, you read that right) cocktail recipe from Pour Me Another by J.M. Hirsch, editorial director of Christopher Kimball's Milk Street. It's fruity, it's refreshing, and it's perfect for anyone who prefers the clean taste of vodka over rum.
You can experiment with various juice combinations but we followed the Tiki Tundra recipe to a T and it turned out delicious. Orgeat syrup and coconut water create a slightly creamy texture. And we love the way the Licor 43 enhances the citrus and rounds out the drink with vanilla-spice flavors. If you don't have it on hand, simply increase your vodka by ½ oz.
After the first few sips, you'll definitely be saying, "Pour me another."
