Are you up for the challenge? This is Don the Beachcomber's original Zombie recipe! He famously restricted his guests to only two of these potent serves. Frankly, that's probably one too many! Imbiber beware...

Zombie

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz Jamaican rum
  • 1 ½ oz Puerto Rican rum
  • 1 oz overproof 151° rum
  • ½ oz Real Grenadine
  • ¾ oz fresh lime juice
  • ¼ oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • ½ oz falernum
  • ½ oz cinnamon syrup
  • 2 dashes absinthe
  • 1 dash aromatic bitters
  • Mint and lime for garnish

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a Hybrid Cocktail Shaker.

  2. Add ice and shake until chilled.

  3. Strain over crushed ice into a chilled glass.

  4. Garnish with mint and lime.
