Lust for Life

Shake up something smoky, bright, and unforgettable. The Lust for Life cocktail was originally crafted by bartender Joaquín Simó at Pouring Ribbons in NYC, and it’s been a quiet classic ever since. With earthy mezcal, tropical pineapple, citrus, and nutty orgeat, it’s layered, vibrant, and surprisingly approachable.

Think of it as a gateway to mezcal, one that’s equal parts edgy and inviting. Sherry adds depth, orgeat softens the edges, and a dusting of cocoa powder gives it a subtle aromatic finish. Whether you’re mixing for guests or just treating yourself to something special, Lust for Life hits the sweet spot between complexity and pure drinkability.

Looking to refresh your winter lineup? This one brings warmth, brightness, and serious style.
