The Forbidden Fruit

For this week's Friday Buzz, we present The Forbidden Fruit. This tantalizing concoction was inspired by Death & Co.'s cocktail, Sling of Aphrodite. If you don't have a bottle of Rhum Agricole this recipe is a good excuse to pick one up. The delightful combination of grassy Rhum Agricole and sweet Fuji apples creates a nice balance. Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Clement Rhum Agricole Blanc
  • ½ oz. Pear Brandy
  • 1 oz. Fuji Apple Cider
  • ¼ oz. Lemon juice
  • ½ oz. Cinnamon Syrup (recipe below)
  • Apple slices

Directions

  1. Combine liquid ingredients in your Elevated Craft Shaker.
  2. Add ice, shake to chill, and dilute.
  3. Strain into your Hybrid Cocktail Glass with fresh ice.
  4. Garnish with apple slices.
