We were inspired by a cocktail from the minds at Smuggler's Cove, which in turn was inspired by a 2009 discovery that the center of our galaxy contains a chemical compound that smells like rum and tastes like raspberries.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Aged rum
  • 1 oz. White rum
  • ¾ oz. Raspberry Gum Syrup
  • Bar spoon Demerara Gum Syrup
  • ¾ oz. Lime juice

Directions

  1. Add add ingredients with ice to your Hybrid Cocktail Shaker.
  2. Shake until chilled, about 10 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  4. Garnish with lime wheel and brandied cherry.
